The Sector provided consultancy in fulfilment of a grant from IRCC to develop a regional workforce planning board's strategy to promote career pathways toward the skilled trades in Canada.

The Sector provided advisory in establishing the Development Finance Institute (DFI): an initial capitalization of $300 million, enabling private sector investment in developing countries.

The Sector designed an investment fund for a Canadian iNGO to acquire equity in seed-stage social enterprises in Sub-Saharan Africa, deploying capital supplied through a GA Canada program.

The Sector provided convening and facilitation services to NRCAN and a Canadian iNGO in forming an advisory council to advise on policies and programs to progress sustainable mining practices in Canada.

The Sector provided advisory to GA and a Canadian iNGO toward structuring a $22 million investment in programs rolled-out in several developing economies set to improve the state of national maternal & child health.

The Sector provided advisory services to the City of Toronto toward the establishment of the TESS led Workforce Development Community of Practice, around governance structure, programs and membership benefits.

The Sector provided advisory services to the Ministry and a regional workforce planning board overseeing the development of the boards annual business plan, resulting in $325,000 in community investment to improve structural supports to Toronto's labour market.

The Sector oversaw a pilot project implementing the Sinzer software tool for impact measurement calculating the social return on investment (SROI) of a hydro-electricity generating facility. This included the design on the M&E framework and data collection, synthesis, and dashboarding.

The Sector consulted on Ontario's Social Enterprise Strategy 2016-2021: equipping social enterprises with business fundamentals; connecting to markets and capital to grow; demonstrating the value of social enterprise and social finance.

The Sector completed a feasibility study for York Region, investigating integrating existing service delivery organizations and funding into all in one point of service, community hubs throughout the region. A report was generated and utilized in by the provincial Community Hubs Working Group.
