Sajjad Khan

Sajjad Khan has 13 + years of experience working in banking and start-ups in Denmark, the United Arab Emirates, and Pakistan. Having started his career as a Global Banking & Markets Coverage Relationship Manager with ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and later The Royal Bank of Scotland, he has worked with leading blue-chip corporates, institutions, the public sector, and international NGOs successfully managing portfolios of up to $300 million. 

Sajjad has delivered strong results across different asset classes like loans, transaction banking, and treasury products as well as providing tailored services to each customer’s unique needs driving portfolio growth and profitability. He has also led several initiatives for his clients such as ideating and implementing new solutions, transformation strategy, business development, and credit underwriting helping them in overcoming diverse challenges and constraints, building their capacities, and improving their operational capabilities. 

After completing his thesis in renewable energy, he developed an interest in impact investing and creating synergies for strategic alliances which led to his first startup, Sustain ViaTech in Denmark making sustainable technologies more accessible. Sajjad has also worked in one of the leading PropTech companies in Dubai as an investment advisor. Sajjad core competencies include relationship management, financial analysis, risk management, credit structuring, and identifying as well as evaluating potential partners, customers, and competitors. He founded Top Seed Ventures in 2020, an AgTech investment platform that aims to democratize sustainable agriculture while helping its partners build a portfolio of high ROI holdings. 

Sajjad holds an MSc in Economics and International Business from Copenhagen Business School & University of Southern Denmark, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
